Our honor guard uniforms project an image of professionalism and precision. Each component of the uniform was selected by the charter members of the honor guard. This included the designs of both the cap and blouse coat badges as well as the buttons. Each uniform is exactly the same with the exception of the agency patch on the right shoulder of each blouse coat. Each team member wears the patch from either the EMS or fire service agency they represent. This represents the diversity of the team. The left shoulder of the blouse coat displays the patch of the honor guard, which represents the unity of the team. The only indication of rank on the uniform is on the name tag of the commander and deputy commander. No other indication of rank from a member’s agency is worn on the uniform or acknowledged. No member may wear any pins or other insignia on their uniform that has not been approved for the entire team to wear.
