Do you have what it takes to be part of the Honor Guard?
Bucks County First Responders considering volunteering to be part of the Honor Guard should take great pride in themselves, their appearance, and their service to Bucks County. These first responders should not only understand the importance of what rendering Honors is, but also must in the constant pursuit of the perfection it requires.
Requirements to join the honor guard are:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be current volunteer or career firefighter, fire police officer, EMT, paramedic or 911 dispatcher within Bucks County.
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, as well as assist in the of lifting caskets.
- Must be able to pass a background check including criminal history and child abuse clearance.
Candidates wishing to join the Honor Guard who meet the above requirements must then complete and submit an application. Once the application has been received, someone from the membership committee will contact you to set up an interview. After the interview a recommendation will be made to the members of the honor guard on accepting your application.
